Room Informations

You will stay in bungalows turned to the natural pool and surrounded by dozens of varieties of plants of the tropical garden. On a private terrace overlooking the garden, you will enjoy breakfast caressed by the first exotic sunlight.

The bungalows are equipped with: King size bed, bathroom with hot water (shower, sink, toilet), TV with international channels, desk, terrace, mosquito nets and air conditioners. Possibility of additional bed for children.

Please note that a bungalow has been especially fitted for disabled: wheelchair ramp, wider doors and adapted sanitary.

Our environment-friendly commitment: Natural pool, geothermal cooling, tropical garden maintained by rainwater recycling, vegetable garden and cooking of products from market, rent of electric bicycles.

An organic garden is being planted to provide short-term fruit and vegetables made at “home”.

second most important city of the Country with its colonial charm crossed by the Sangker river, some people is used to say they feel like at home already… Less than 3 hours far from the Angkor Temples.

Restaurant

On the menu: Traditional Cambodian dishes (with our specialty: fish amok!) and French food ; without forgetting to mention the today’s special. All cooked with Fruits and vegetable picked from our kitchen garden and purchased at the market.

New wines are selected each month to awaken new flavors over the dishes.

The bar space offers various cocktails, rums, fair trade teas and coffees to enjoy at the counter or at the pool.

Natural Pool

The Cabaret Vert offers the first natural and environment-friendly pool in Cambodia..

The water of the 55m² pool is entirely filtered by a separate basin consisted of plants, so no added chemicals. Thus the water is soft and does not damage your skin.

The health and comfort of the bathers are preserved by the absence of chlorinated water (no skin and eyes irritations, no asthma, no allergy). The pool, designed and built by professionals ensures a clear and healthy water, according to the prescribed Quality Standards of bathing water.

The pool is part of natural or ecological environment in order to promote and develop an ecosystem for an abundant biodiversity.

The tropical and teaching garden is consisted of hundreds of flowers, fruit trees and other typical representative plants of biodiversity in Southeast Asia.

From Phnom Penh

By road, 4 hours by taxi or private car or 5 hours by bus – Regular Daily lines operated by several buses companies (Capitol tour- departure from Capitol Guest House’s of Phnom Penh), GST, Ho Wah Genting (departure from the Central Market of Phnom Penh). One of the most beautiful landscape of Cambodia as it is said!

From Siem Reap

By road: 2.30 hours by taxi or private car.

By boat: approximately 6 hours from July to March (till 9 hours-10 hours between April and June). To try out absolutely if you can with recommended solar cream!

From Bangkok and Poipet

4 hours by bus or 3 hours by taxi / private car from Bangkok to Poipet, then 1.40 hours by taxi / private car on good road conditions.

From Pailin

Coming from Thailand, possible border crossing by the road of Pailin to Battambang.

My wife and I stayed for two nights in December 2010. We were treated like family hanging out with the Fara and the rest of the group at the bar and restaurant. It was truly a great experience.

We did not leave a deposit or credit card for the room (in fact they do not take credit cards). They put everything on the room for us: food, drink, tuk-tuks, taxis, show tickets. They also made all of the arrangements for us. One the day we were leaving Fara made arrangements for a taxi to pick us up at 6 am to take us to the border to walk across to Thailand. Fara made us a bag to you with fruit, bread and water to take with us.
